Dear Forum

i want realize a portatile audio device implementing MP3. So i have some different possibiliy. Family 55 or  the more bigger  TMS320DM6467

 Can someone tell me ,more or less, how much can be the power requirement for just make work MP3 ?

    Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages. Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics.

    There is a C5000 Forum in E2E and a DM64x Forum in E2E. You started this in the C67x Forum which is common to neither of those DSPs in your question.

    My recommendation is to go to TI.com and look under Applications to find some examples with information about what you want to implement.
