C6678 I2Cboot image

hello,

I want to boot C6678 from I2C EEPROM.

How to create a (working) I2C boot image for C6678?

We got some tools (b2ccs.exe, b2i2c.exe, bconvert64x.exe, bin2ccs.exe, ccs2bin.exe, romparse.exe) to create the i2c boot image, but the information for the C6678 is      incomplete. Is there any detial introduction about these tools?

How can we trasfer .out file to .bin file?

     Thanks

  • Zengxing Yuan,

If the tools you listed did not come from the MCSDK, please download and install the MCSDK 2.0.

Near the folder where these files reside, you will find documentation that explains how to use these utilities to do what you want to do.

For example, in the folder tools\boot_loader\ibl\doc are files named build_instructions.txt and evmc6678-instructions.txt.

    Regards,
    RandyP
