Hi Rio,
For the BOOTMODE pin # mapping to DIP switches refer to this section (please ignore the example settings on the figure):

BOOTMODE pins select the following options (note the reversed order):

Please refer to the following TRM section for detailed description on how to select boot mode (primary and backup) and boot mode settings:
5.4.2 BOOTMODE Pin Mapping (Full Pincount)
Let me know if you have more questions.

Hi Stan:
May you read this E2E?
AM62L: USB MSC Boot - Processors forum - Processors - TI E2E support forums
Have you verify and check if this is really working well?

Hi Rio,
As far as I know USB stick boot is supported in ROM code. There is only a limitation which is described in errata document is that ROM doesn't support files larger than 2MB.
Not sure how it is supported in secondary boot loaders. I can see it is currently not supported in Linux SDK 11.02:

Hi Stan:
For the USB Mass Storage boot, please help the TI RD to implement this can document for how-do in detail, thanks.
Reason: DS shows the USB boot is supported.

Hi Rio and Anastas,
I have a little more info today. Due to a bug in the ROM code itself, first stage boot wasn't possible. That's why MSC boot wasn't implemented in u-boot and Linux. The bug has been fixed in ROM in silicon revision 1.1, hence now MSC boot is back in the queue for u-boot and Linux. Linux SDK documentation and how-to-s will be updated accordingly once SDK gets updated.

Stan
