Hi,.

 

I am using AM3703 EVM and want to enable BT and Wifi from the command line instead of the GUI application given in FileSystem.

 

Please suggest how we can do that...

    Hi,

    I removed the passkey in my WiFi router and then I did,

    iwconfig wlan0 essid "MY WiFi Router ESSID"

    that worked and I was able to connect to WiFi. However, I would like to know where should I put key. because

    I tried iwconfig wlan0 essid "MY WiFi Router ESSID" key s:"MY KEY" that didnt work.

    In addition to that, I am able to enable BT using BT app on the screen, but when I try

    hciconfig hciX up

    it gives Can't get device info: No such device.

    Please let me know how to enable BT and WiFi from Command line...

    now my one more question is how to install Python on AM3703 EVM... It has arago (TI's) distribution and I checked there and didnt find python package .. please let me know HOW CAN I GET PYTHON WORKING ON TI's OMAP AM3703 EVM...
