Hi Ti Team,

We are planning to use Kingston or ISSI LPDDR4 devices with the AM6442 processor in our design. Has TI validated AM6442 with any of these DRAMs? Can we safely use these manufacturers, and do you foresee any challenges?

Sandra, we have not specifically validated Kingston or ISSI memories, but both have been successfully used in customers designs. Ensure board design guidelines are followed: https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/spracu1

and generate a new DDR configuration for your board using the DDR register configuration tool: https://dev.ti.com/sysconfig/?product=Processor_DDR_Config&device=AM64x (instructions are in the README link in the tool)
