OTG Isochronous transfers under Windows Mobile for OMAP35xx

I would like to see isochronous support on the 35xx HS host port. Seems strange DMA support on the OTG port ..which is mostly used as a USB client....but not on the HS host port. At least from what I can see.

Currently the Isochronous mode is not supported on OTG port. There are some limitations on the DMA - I would encourage to read the errata on OMAP3530. In case EHCI port is an option, that supports Isochronous mode.

Does this mean its supported on the hardware but not included in the BSP?

Short answer is Hardware supports. However there are some limits to it so OMAP3530 Errata would be a good reference to check. The driver support does not exist on CE6 nor on WEC7.

 Isochronous on EHCI mode is supported. We have supported CE6 based USB cameras using it. we have not checked on Compact 7 but considering CE6 BSP was enhanced to Compact 7 I expect it to work equally well as CE6.

DMA is implemented on OMAP35xx EHCI and on AM35xx EHCI.

Thats strange. Can you show me where it is implemented?

Because I can clearly see how the DMA is implemented on all AM33, AM38, and AM35 platforms high speed host ports.

I can also see DMA on all OTG (MUSB) ports.

What I do not see is how DMA is implemented on the OMAP3530 high speed host ports.

I can see EHCI_DMA_ALLOC defined as 0 in system.c of EHCIPDD but other DMA refferences.

Still looking for DMA references in EHCI on OMAP3530...
