Hello TI

Can Any one tell me where the android log & android Text logo is initialize in android stack . Android Text log is coming on board but android log is not coming on the Board.

Hi Bhagavath,

In omap3evm init.rc, you will find the following lines

on early-init
symlink /initlogo.rle.bak /initlogo.rle

This means that if you have an rle file initlogo.rle.bak in your rootfs it will be displayed as init logo.

Also, you can add steps in device/ti/omap3evm/AndroidBoard.mk to copy the rle.bak file to your rootfs as part of the android build

# initlogo
PRODUCT_COPY_FILES += \
$(LOCAL_PATH)/../../rowboat/generic/initlogo/android-robot-on-black-480x640.rle:root/initlogo.rle.bak

Hi Arun,

How to put my Customize Image before android boot up logo ? , In Gingerbread i can change easily but in android ICS (TI ANDROID ICS 4.03 STACK) where to Add my image manually i changed in init.rc but it dint work ,While boot time before android splash screen it ll come into picture .

Can any one please suggest me.

I'm using ANDROID iCS on my custom board

Me too face the same problem,the splash screen comes on the display but the logo and any other things not happens on my display.Juz a splash screen comes and gone for a little bit time.

I also changed the init.rc permissions but nothing helps.

Did u solve this issue????I stuck in that place for a few days...
