enabling the uart0 and uart1 on am1808 evm provided by calixto

i have seen that but i am not able to merge the patch

i have opened the kernel folder by command prompt and then try to merge the patch by command    patch -p >path of patch

but it is not working for me

Hi Harnek,

I do not see issue for merging the patches if your kernel is based on release 03.20.00.14. Hope your applying patches from top of kernel directory as below.

$patch -p1 < <patch_name>

Patches are split logically to address each step. For example first patch does the pinmuxing the UART1 pins as emplained in commit message. Please modify code accordingly for UART0.

Hi,

I m using Logic Pd AM1808, i am able to access UART1 in the both the ways based the above patches. Could you please let me know, how to enable UART0.

i have changed almost in Boot-loader & kernel. I removed spi0 default pin mux register values in boot-loader and assigned across to UART0.

Can i have know how to enble that feature.
