Devices for TMS320DA828&808

Hi,

According to the datasheets of TMS320DA828 and TMS320DA808 ,both have c674x DSP.

According to following page c674x can be any of the DSP's like c6748 or c6747.

Can somebody please tell me how to find out the exact DSP used in TMS320DA828 and TMS320DA808 or any of the TMS320DA8xx family of SOCs?

The datasheets are correct. Please refer datasheets and errata for TMS320DA8xx series.

Thanks for the response.

I agree that datasheets are correct.

But,putting my question in another way :- Is C674x independently called a DSP or is C674x, a generic name for DSPs like C6747,C6745 etc ?

If it is a generic name,is there a way to find out the exact DSP ?

C674x is the [name of] DSP core in devices named C6747, C6745, etc.

Hi Urmil,

Thank you for the response.

We will be working on TMS320DA828,DA830 and TMS320DA808.

So now, how do we know which document we should be looking at, For example there are some documents for bootloading: sprabb1b.pdf, spraat2e.pdf, sprab41d.pdf, sprab04f.pdf

You may refer either of sprab04f.pdf or sprabb1b.pdf. They both refer to same version of bootloader.
