Hi TI Team,

We are using the AM64x/AM243x EVM board (TMDS64EVM) as a reference for our design (PROC101D(004)_SCH). The current SDK supports DDR4 memory. We would like to know whether TI can provide software support for LPDDR4.

Yes, please check https://www.ti.com/tool/SK-AM64B for example of LPDDR4 based board. TI SDK supports both DDR4 and LPDDR4

But from the link you shared i can see the base board is designed for DDR4 not LPDDR4, from its schematics file

Sorry i was referring to a wrong schematics..

Could you please confirm whether the support is provided on the A53 core or the R5F core?

We require support on the R5F core, as we intend to use the AM64xx and AM24xx processors interchangeably on the same board.

Also, is it possible to use dual‑channel LPDDR4 with each channel being 16‑bit wide for the AM64xx and AM24xx processors?

Yes, the SDK supports LPDDR4 from any processor core. AM64x and AM24x are single channel interfaces. Dual-channel LPDDR4 are not supported. Please see https://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/spracu1 for more information
