Part Number: J721EXCPXEVM
Hi TI Support Team,
I am currently working on building the TI Linux SDK (Yocto) for the J721E platform in a corporate network environment, and I am encountering persistent fetch failures during the BitBake process.
Issue Description:
The build fails at the do_fetch stage for the trusted-firmware-a component with the following error:
Fetcher failure: Unable to fetch URL from any source- Exit code: 128 while accessing
https://git.trustedfirmware.org/TF-A/trusted-firmware-a.git
Environment Details:
- Platform: J721E EVM
- TI SDK: ti-processor-sdk-linux-adas-j721e-evm-11_02_00_04-Linux-x86-Install
- Host OS: Native Linux (Ubuntu 22.04)
- Network: Corporate environment (behind proxy)
Observations & Debugging Done:
- Internet connectivity via proxy is working (verified using curl to GitHub)
- Proxy:
sia-proxy.geo.int.automotive-wan.com:3128 - Able to access GitHub via curl successfully
- Direct access to
git.trustedfirmware.orgappears to be blocked or restricted - Attempted to redirect to GitHub mirror (
ARM-software/trusted-firmware-a) but facing authentication/proxy-related issues with Git - CNTLM proxy approach was attempted but did not resolve the issue due to authentication complications
Request:
Could you please help with:
- Recommended approach to handle restricted network/proxy environments for Yocto builds
- Whether there is an official mirror for
trusted-firmware-asupported by TI SDK - Any configuration changes required in Yocto (e.g.,
PREMIRRORS,local.conf, or fetch settings) - Known issues or patches related to fetch failures behind corporate proxies
This issue is currently blocking the build process, so any guidance or workaround would be highly appreciated.
Please let me know if additional logs or details are required.
Thanks and regards,
Suresh Sathalla
