TMS320VC33: TMS320VC33PGEA120 Memory errors

Part Number: TMS320VC33

Dear Expert:

In recent years, the incidence of memory errors in TI's TMS320VC33 DSP(TMS320VC33PGEA120 ) chips has been on the rise. We previously engaged TI for analysis, yet the root cause has not been identified to date.
In recent internal simulation tests, we have been able to stably reproduce the memory errors by only modifying the off-chip chip-select (CS) signal. We sincerely request official technical support from TI to assist us in resolving this long-standing issue as soon as possible.
Two key questions have continued to puzzle us, and we hope TI can provide official clarification:

  1. Since the chip-select (CS) signal only controls off-chip peripherals, why does it lead to unintended modifications of the DSP's on-chip memory?
  2. Even when no errors are detected in the DSP's on-chip memory, why does the CRC calculation still return incorrect results?
