AMIC110: Profinet and Ethernet/IP Communication board

Part Number: AMIC110

I started designing a low cost an industrial ethernet PCB board  for Profinet and Ethernet/IP  protocols to be as an adapter board for our products and to be included in new desigs for next designs. my quick search about the alternatives I found the AMIC110 as low cost but we have to buy a software stack from third party and I need to include DDR3 in the design. the otheralternave is use AM243X  with version F  and use free software stack from TI. my question are do I need an external memory with the second alternative (AM243X) . the cheapest AM243X is almost double the cost of the AMIC110, will cost of the stack cover that. which solution is easy in term of the integration of stack.   any otherr solutions?
