Error in DSP init

Hi,

I am getting Ipc_attach: Ipc_procSyncStart failed! error while doing the insmod of DSP.xe674.

I am using OMX_05_02_00_30 with ezsdk_5_03_01_15.

Is there any addtional settings or Boot args to enable DSP.?

Ramakrishna,

DSP is not a linux module, so insmod wo't work.

You should use

./firmware_loader 0 dsp.xe74 start

to load teh DSP.

In addition, please also have a look at the Software Developers Guide in the EZSDK's docs/ directory. This has introductory material on you how to run different sample applications, the overall software stack.

Hi,

I am using ./firmware_loader 0 dsp.xe74 start only. But it Hangs..

After enabling syslink logs I came to know processor IDLE..!

Is there any setting or clock setting to enable DSP.?
