Hi,

I am using TI-ARAGO 2025.1 Yocto SDK on the TDA4VM EVM for qualification.

The TI FW images - tiboot3.bin, tispl.bin, sysfw.itb and u-boot.img are stored at specific offsets in the OSPI flash as per the reference design provided.

I am trying to setup the flash address map to be flexible and different the base reference design.

I have done this for the AM2431 via syscfg on TI CCS.

Since I am using Yocto SDK, I am trying to see how I can configure the syscfg for these individual binaries to provide the new flash offsets that I am planning to use.

Is there any mechanism built in the SDK to configure syscfg with recipes/append files/conf settings that I use to update these flash offsets ?

0x000000800000-0x000003fc0000 : "ospi.rootfs"
0x000003fe0000-0x000004000000 : "ospi.phypattern"

My question was even more fundamental. Let's say I decide to change the map to the following:

0x000000000000-0x000000080000 : "ospi.tiboot3"
0x000000080000-0x000000280000 : "ospi.sysfw"
0x000000280000-0x000000680000 : "ospi.tispl"
0x000000680000-0x0000006a0000 : "ospi.u-boot"
0x0000006a0000-0x0000006c0000 : "ospi.env"
0x0000006c0000-0x0000007c0000 : "ospi.env.backup"
0x000000800000-0x000003fc0000 : "ospi.rootfs"
0x000003fe0000-0x000004000000 : "ospi.phypattern"

- I am looking to see if it's possible to change the offsets and the sizes of the flash partitions to suit my system design ?

- If so, how to configure these FW to use the new offsets via Yocto SDK ? tiboot3.in must know to load sysfw from 0x80000 rather than 0x6c0000. The same is true for other binaries.
