Help with Android 2.x on Beagleboard xM Rev C

Hi,

I tried many prebuilt images but none is working. More, out there is a jungle of dead links and links that do not say precisely what you are downloading.

What I need (urgently) is a version of Android (2.1, 2.2, 2.3) that just works on the Beagleboard xM rev C. I prefer prebuilt images but also the source code and good workflow will help.

Interesting, can you give the links that you have tried so far. Will help us to correct it.

Thanks for the link. I've already tried the prebuilt images which are downloadable from there without luck.
Did you test the beagleboard xm and beagleboard rev c images on the beagleboard xm rev c?

Another thing: I think the page you gave me is quite rich of content. I'm just a bit confused about the versions of Android I am downloading. Are they the same I find in rowboat?

I'll post the logs at another time.

Did you test the beagleboard xm package on teh beagleboard xm rev c?

The link to download the manifest file seems to be broken, so

repo init -u git://gitorious.org/rowboat/manifest.git -m TI-Android-GingerBread-2.3.4-DevKit-2.1.xml

won't work. A HTML header is delivered instead of the file.

$ repo init -u git://gitorious.org/rowboat/manifest.git -m TI-Android-GingerBread-2.3.4-DevKit-2.1.xml is working fine.

I have varified it on my machine.

Please let us know steps that you followed and error log/HTML header.

Ok, thanks for the replies. Anyway I'd suggest to anyone else who had this problem, in case he needs prebuilt images, to refer to this site:

http://www.alwaysinnovating.com/beagleboard/

The big image with four operating systems will simply WORK on BeagleBoard xM rev C after giving a few commands.
