Please note that support for flashing tools is not added for AM62L FreeRTOS SDK, that is why you don't see any step describing how to flash the example on the EVM.

Hello ,

There is no future support for FreeRTOS MCU+SDK on AM62L, and we are transitioning to Zephyr.

 Are you planning to run FreeRTOS on the A53 cores?

I am investigating using CortexA cpus for an OS I currently run on CortexM.

For someone learning about the CortexA architecture from scratch, FreeRTOS provides an accessible, familiar environment that lets me reason about what is different in the CortexA world. I do not expect to use it in any other way.

So for now the FreeRTOS SDK has been really helpful.  A bit sad the flash example was not added though.  I am now trying to figure out what needs to happen to change from USB boot to a flash boot.  Best guess is I need to copy some arrangement of the tiboot3.bin and xxx.appimage.hs_fs files to a flash boot device....

I did at least build a zephyr example for the AM62L EVM.  But the zephyr + uboot combo is not a great place to start if you want to understand what is actually involved in building, flashing and booting an OS on CortexA.
