Hello All.

We are using TISDK9.1 and we need to use JWT library in our products for generating tokens based on session. is JWT is supported to this ? if yes please provide the related version for TISDK9.1

as we need to integrate in our yocto build system

Hi Manu,

JWT libraries are not bundled with the default TI SDK images.

TI SDK 9.1 is based on Yocto Kirkstone (4.0)

libjwt is indexed from Yocto scarthgap (5.0) in OpenEmbedded ( https://layers.openembedded.org/layerindex/recipe/412137/ ) so it wouldn't be directly available for kirkstone.

But you could try manual backporting.

Also, SDK 11+ is on Yocto scarthgap, if you want to go for scarthgap.

Vinuchandran A V Thanks, for the response does it mean that we are not able to get in Yocto 4.0 and will it be bundled with Yocto 5.0.

Can we add the JWT library with yocto 4.0 by doing recipe changes? if yes what could be the possible version we can use for this?

please suggest how can we go further on this with yocto 4.0. if you have any refence for this ain any earlier thread which is similar. please provide the link

No, the module is officially supported from Yocto 5.0. But, you could try porting it to Yocto 4.0. libjwt seems a pure C library, which might be directly portable. Be awarew that you might encounter dependency issues.

This is not a package which comes bundled with any of the TI SDK images. You'll need to add them separately with the standard process.
