AM335x VoIP porting

AM335x has no DSP for VoIP.

So, instead of dedicated DSP resource, considered NEON FPU.

Can be used NEON FPU for VoIP for IP Phone application?

As I know no one can confirmed it,

I'm not too familiar with VOIP, but is ffmpeg a possible option for you?

What is the Codec you need? There is a list of ffmpeg codecs for ARM here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/ARM_Multimedia_Users_Guide

As I mentioned before WB codec, G.722.2 for VoIP.

I checked ARM Multimedia Users Guide, but didn't mentioned about G.7xx doec.

Joe,

In that case, we do not have an in house solution for VOIP on ARM as of yet. We know it is possible so we would recommend a third party.
