AM67: Applying power to un-sequenced and un-powered GPIO on the AM67

Part Number: AM67

Hello TI team,
My colleague and I want to know what would happen if we were to apply power to an unpowered GPIO prior to sequencing. Could you possibly confirm if this would cause any issues?

  • Nicolas,

The datasheet lists all pins that are fail-safe and those that aren't.

    MCU_I2C0_SCL, MCU_I2C0_SDA, WKUP_I2C0_SCL, WKUP_I2C0_SDA,
EXTINTn, VMON_1P8_SOC, VMON_3P3_SOC, and MCU_PORz are the only fail-safe IO terminals. All others are not fail safe and no power should be applied when the terminals are not powered.

    regards,

    Michael
