AM263P4: AM263x Supporting TSN

Hi,

On the datasheet AM263x Sitara™ Microcontrollers with Real-Time Control. In the August 2025 revision, it stated that "Removed mentions of TSN............................................................................................................................ 149"

Howver in the AM263x MCU+ SDK 26.00.00, Ethernet TSN and gPTP Stack - API and Integration Guide is still found in the SDK.

May i check if TSN is still supported for the AM263x Sitara controllers, or is it the SDK has not been updated

Hi Joel,

Yes AM263x support TSN and AM263Px also supports it.

Hello Nilabh,

Appreciate the quick response. Any reason why in the data sheet, they removed mention of TSN from AM263x from the detailed description (Section 7) whereas for other TI Sitaras like AM243x series. TSN is still mentioned in the datasheet.

Thanks for the response. As i cannot view the Jira Ticket, I would like to provide more context. In the

AM263x Sitara Microcontrollers with Real-Time Control datasheet, August 2025 revision. It states in the revision history, page 157 the following:

"Removed mentions of TSN............................................................................................................................ 149". With the "149" being linked to Section 7, page 149 on the detailed description.

Attached is the datasheet and I would to also understand the confusion, whether AM263X Sitara series supports TSN

TSN as a feature itself is a collection of multiple sub standards, please refer to the list of all the sub protocols supported on AM263x
