Hi Yamada-san,
TI's recommendation is to follow the PCB layout guidelines. If the layout guidelines are followed, then industry spec will be met. We have verified this through simulation and validation.

Hi Mark,
Thank you so much for your prompt reply.
Thank you for the valuable information.
We are also planning to perform an SI simulation and have downloaded sprm693.
Is this usable?
If there are any limitations, please let me know in the comments.
Best Regards,
Hiroshi Yamada
Hi Yamada-san,
The IBIS model can be used in simulations for the IO buffers available in the model file.

Hi Mark-san,
Thank you so much for your prompt reply.
Thank you for the valuable information.
I would like to perform SI simulations of DDR3L, USB3.0, and Ethernet connected to the AM5708 during the board artwork process, but is this IBIS MODEL unusable?
How can I do this if I want to?
Sorry for asking so many questions.
Best Regards,
Hiroshi Yamada
Hi Yamada-san,
Here is the mapping of the buffer names within the IBIS model.
I may have missed a couple, but we can cross reference the pin name from the datasheet to the pin name in the IBIS model. The IBIS model will specify a "SELECTOR_<#>" name which will link to the IO submodels available on that pin.
This IBIS model can be used in SI simulations.
Please let me know if I can clarify further.
Regards,
Mark
Hi Mark-san,
Thank you so much for your prompt reply.
Thank you for your kind and thorough explanation.
I understand the outline.
I will contact you again if the section performing the SI analysis has any inquiries.
