How to generate a xDAIS complaint project with xDM genalg wizard

Hi,

I am very new to TI platforms. I would like to create a simple FIR filter project which shoul be xDAIS complaint using CCS v5. For this taks, i have followed the following procedure:

1. I have used the xDM genalg wizard to create a project from scratch. I t generated the templates.

2. I want to build this XDM genalg wizard generated project. for this, i have tried to import the project to CCS v5. it shows the following error.


  Error: Import failed for project 'ji.filt' because its compiler definition is not available. Please contact support.

Could you please help me to fix this error.

It would be very much helpful if someone explain about the procedure to create a xDAIS complaint project in CCS v5.

    I've been able to create a project with the XDM genAlg wizard and import it successfully into CCStudio using version 5.1.0.09000.  Make sure, you have enabled the Generate CCS Eclipse project.

    When importing the project (File->Import), make sure you select "Existing CCS/CCE Eclipse Project" option under the Code Composer Studio folder to import this project properly.

    I am using CCS Version: 5.1.1.00028 and XDM genalg wizard v 7.21.

    I have used the following procedure:

    1. using XDM genalg wizard created the source files and interface header files and the files necessary for building.

    2. Build this using the gmake executable which is copied from xdctools_3_22_04_46

    3. It successfully built and generate the release file also

    4. I tried to import this into CCS. it shows "See details below.
      Error: Import failed for project 'ji.sam' because its compiler definition is not available. Please contact support."

    Could you please let me know how to fix this issue and let me know the procedure to create the xDAIS complaint project.

    We have found an issue with the latest CCS v5.1.1.00028.  It seems there have been some project setting changes that were not taken into account in the GenAlg wizard project creation.

    You'll have to use CCS v5.1.0.09000, until an update can be provided.

    To just complete this post, an issue was also encountered in CCS 5.1.0.09000.  The issue is specifically how the generated GenAlg project is imported into CCS.  Take a look  at the following post for solution information.
