Hi TI Experts,
Customer has a project that only needs complete below 3 requirements:
- CSI receives 30 fps 1080P image
- Encoder encode 30 fps 1080P image
- Display mipi-dsi 30 fps 1080P image
Customer has previous experience on RK1108 (A7 core, encoder & mipi-dsi capable) before could achieve these requirements easily under 1W power consumption. Since AM62P is the lowest entry level we have that support both encoder + mipi-dsi, so customer is evaluating AM62P for overseas market.
However, this project is very power consumption sensitive, and customer hopes AM62P could be within 1.5W (at 90 degree Tj). We have tried removed the unused cores & peripherals, but the best we could achieve is about 2.2W at 90 degree Tj (shown in the below excel sheet).
Could you help to check if there is any further feasibility to improve the power consumption based on the above excel sheet tool?
