TMS320F28035: TMS320F28035 CLA Issue

Part Number: TMS320F28035

Dear Expert:

F28035  The CLA has encountered some issues. The client's objective is to trigger the CLA through the pwm interrupt flag. After triggering, the interrupt flag bit of the PWM should be cleared in the CLA task to achieve the effect of continuously triggering the CLA. The current problem I'm encountering is that when I use the smallest project template, PWM can be triggered normally and CLA can also clear the PWM flag bit normally. However, when I add a large number of files to this project (only adding any interfaces of the newly added files that were not called during compilation), PWM can only trigger CLA once, and CLA cannot clear the PWM interrupt flag bit. If the simulator is connected to manually clear the PWM flag, the CLA can be triggered again, making it seem as if the CLA is unable to operate the PWM register.

  • Hi Herbert,

This sounds like some sort of memory issue. Can you provide the map file and linker cmd file so I may take a look?

If the simulator is connected to manually clear the PWM flag, the CLA can be triggered again, making it seem as if the CLA is unable to operate the PWM register

I'm assuming you are talking about clearing the PWM flag in the register viewer manually? Can you try adding a __mdebugstop(); line into the task and see if it gets hit / see what happens if you step through with the debugger?

    Best Regards,

    Delaney
