AM6442: AM64x PROFINET IRT Connection Failure – RTC3 / PTCP Sync Not Establishing

Hi Team,
I am currently supporting an issue regarding PROFINET IRT configuration on the AM64x platform. Standard RT communication is working perfectly, but we are unable to establish an IRT (RTC3) connection.
Could you please review the configuration and diagnostic details below to help identify the root cause?
1. Environment & Configuration
Platform: AM64x
Library Linked: ⁠profinet_device_irt_mii_icss_fwhal.am64x.r5f.ti-arm-clang.release.lib⁠
Include Path: ⁠source/industrial_comms/profinet_device/icss_fwhal/IRT⁠
2. PLC & GSD Setup
PROFINET Interface: RT Class = IRT | Sync Role = Sync Master | Send Clock = 1 ms
GSD File: * ⁠SupportedRT_Classes="RT_CLASS_1;RT_CLASS_3"⁠
⁠IsochroneModeInRT_Classes="RT_CLASS_3"⁠
Note: TIA Portal imports the GSD successfully and allows IRT selection without issues.
3. Observed Behavior
Working: The device comes online normally. DCP functions properly, IO Device can establish RT communication, and standard RT data exchange works without issues.
Failing: When switching to IRT, the RTC3 communication fails to establish.
4. Diagnostic Errors
PLC Diagnostics (Port 2 / X1P2): Shows the error message "IRT not possible at this port."
PRONETA Diagnostics: * LLDP RTClass3 Status: Abnormal
PTCP Sync: Not established
RTC3 connection: Not established
Next Steps / Ask:
It appears the system is getting stuck during the PTCP Sync phase and LLDP negotiation for RTClass3. Are there any specific ICSSG/PRU configurations, PHY register initializations, or known SDK constraints regarding IRT/RTC3 on this specific port that we might be missing?
