Hi,

I looking for a phy GigaEthernet to replace AR8031-AL on DM814x. I found the this parts numbers :

- DP83865 National (Texas)

- KSZ9021 (micrel)

- 88E1119R (Marvell)

- vsc8601xkn (Vitesse)

Somebody already test one of this chips with AM387x or TMS320DM814x ?

The ethernet device drive from DM814x is generic? Can I select anyone of this part numbers?

I need a chip that i can buy 500 per year.

Hi We are using the VSC8601 on our TI814x h/w. We hopefully will have it up and running under u-boot in a week or so. See my other post about the ROM emac boot loader..... Regards Steve
