CCSTUDIO: CCStudio 21.0 build for TM4C board

Hi,

I tried building the default "hello" project for the EK-TM4C1294XL in a fresh install of CCStudio version 21.0.0, but I get a gmake 2 error "ignored".

This was building the project using the ARM-CGT v18.12.2 compiler on Windows

 

Using the same compiler version but CCStudio version 20.5.1 the project builds successfully. Is this a bug in the new CCStudio version?

    Hi Nick,

    CCS 21.0 removed the "tiobj2bin" folder that the Tiva examples are still dependent on (the post build step). The utility in the folder is unsupported and obsolete, hence the removal. If you wish to use the old examples with the old post-build step, You can copy the "tiobj2bin" folder from 20.5 to 21.0.

    The folder in CCS 20.5 should be in <CCS 20.5 INSTALL DIR>/ccs/utils. Copy the folder to the same location in your CCS 21.0 installation.
