Hi TI team,
I am unable to install CCS 20.2, CCS 20.5, or CCS 21.0 on multiple company Windows PCs.
The installation consistently fails during the TI Emulation Package / EMU_TI installation step.
The failing executable is similar to:
ti_emupack_setup_21.0.0.3955_win_64.exe
The exact error is:
Error copying file from packed archive:
C:/Users/<user>/AppData/Local/Temp/ccs_*/EMU_TI/TI_EMU~1.EXE
to:
C:/ti/ccs2100/ccs/ccs_base/emulation/windows/xds110_drivers/x64/WdfCoInstaller01009.dll
Abort
There has been an error.
Unable to copy file
This issue is reproduced with:
- CCS 21.0
- CCS 20.5
- CCS 20.2
- Multiple Windows PCs
I have already tried:
- Running the installer as administrator
- Deleting C:\ti\ccs2100 / C:\ti\ccs2050
- Clearing %TEMP%
- Moving the installer to C:\Temp
- Verifying manual write access to C:\ti
- Checking with IT for firewall / endpoint logs
- Testing on another company PC
Manual creation of a file named WdfCoInstaller01009.dll under C:\ti was successful, so this does not appear to be a simple write-permission issue.
Could you please advise how to manually repair/install the TI Emulation Package or XDS110 driver, or provide a workaround for this EMU_TI installer failure?
