Note that we currently only support power-of-2 sized memory devices (ie, 1,2,4,8,16GBytes, etc). 

I believe you can get a 6GB memory to work if you configure it for an 8GB memory, but we have not tried that with that size memory.  I would recommend getting samples and installing a 6GB memory on an EVM to ensure you can configure and access the full 6GB of memory

Other than that, i think your approach can work. 

We have validated devices from Micron, Nanya and Samsung with AM62P, but other devices which are JEDEC compatible from a variety of vendors (additionally, Alliance Memory, ISSI, Winbond, Kingston, etc) have been used successfully by other customers.

Hi Chris,

From Micron we got an information like 4GB part MT53E1G32D2FW-046 AAT:C is also qualified with AM62P. Can we consider this as qualified? 

Will wait for the reply for 17bit row addressing.

Thanks! Could you share the previously validated eMMC list too?

We don't have an eMMC list.  We have Micron devices on our EVMs which have been used, but we do not specifically validate eMMC devices.
