ROM BootLoader Version 1.0 source code for C6678 and C6670

Hi All,

We have released the source code of version 1.0 of ROM boot loader for C6678 and C6670. The link for the source codes are available in the processor wiki.

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Keystone_Device_Architecture. One word of caution, the source code does not have the makefile so we might not be able to compile the code.

Hi,

There seems to be a discrepancy between the RBL documentation and source code.

I am comparing the SPI Boot Parameter Table described in the Bootloader User Guide, sprugy5b.pdf Table 3-27, and the BOOT_PARAMS_SPI_T struct in file tiboot.h of the source code release. While the field "options" is correctly located at offset 12, the rest of the struct is ordered differently from the documentation and contains a few additional fields. So, a table built by a user according to the doc would be incorrectly read by the RBL.

Please correct me if I've misunderstood anything.

Also in page 3-19 there is the text "After initializing the peripherals by the boot parameter table shown in Table 3-21.."

Shouldn't it be Table 3-27?

The RBL code is for reference and there is no project available for building/updating the ROM.

Yes. There is a small update on the source for PLL lock up issue reported in advisory 8 of C6678 errata document.
