Q: Is there plan to release bootloader from any memory?
:AM62L FreeRTOS SDK: Buildsheet

My customer considering AM62L using FreeRTOS only. So anything method boot from memory.

AM62L bootflow uses a Two Stage ROM boot, so first stage boots preBL and in second stage, ROM boots the application, so SBL is not really required here to boot the application, please refer to this for more details: https://software-dl.ti.com/mcu-plus-sdk/esd/AM62LX/11_00_00_05/exports/docs/api_guide_am62lx/BOOTFLOW_GUIDE.html

How these 2 applications are booted will depend upon which boot mode is used, the SDK provides a reference on how to boot using USB DFU boot mode: https://software-dl.ti.com/mcu-plus-sdk/esd/AM62LX/11_00_00_05/exports/docs/api_guide_am62lx/DFU_LOAD_CCS_DEBUG.html#USB-DFU_SEND

For OSPI and eMMC Raw boot modes you need to flash the first stage image at 0x0 offset and the second stage image at 0x80000 offset. Let me know if you need any help with booting from any particular boot media.

Please also note that there is no plan to add support for this in FreeRTOS SDK on AM62L.
