Hi Vinuchandran,

Thankyou for the reply.

The issue was fixed once we downgraded tar package.

Now I am facing some errors build. Is this related to previous failed build?

    Split from  AM62L-EVSE-DEV-EVM: AM62AX-EVM-K3R5: Yocto build fails in linux-firmware:do_package with pseudo errors (Cannot mkdir: Bad address) 

    Hi,

    This is a classic Yocto sstate/deploy-manifest desync, and given the timing, it's very likely a direct consequence of the earlier pseudo corruption.

    Try clearing the machine's entire deploy output and let sstate regenerate it cleanly:

    rm -rf build/deploy-ti/images/am62axx-evm/*
    bitbake -c cleansstate tisdk-uenv optee-ftpm ti-dm-fw trusted-firmware-a optee-os
    bitbake <your-image>

    I am facing this issue after removing files inside am62axx-evm

    Hi,

    That top-level ExecutionError is just BitBake's wrapper. It only tells you the wic task failed and where the log lives, not why.

    The actual root cause will be in the last ~30-50 lines of /home/vysakh2/MNMI_SVSC/tisdk/build/arago-tmp-default-glibc/work/am62axx_evm-oe-linux/tisdk-default-image/1.0/temp/log.do_image_wic.579554

    Please share it.

    wic can't find the kernel Image file because it's simply not in the deploy directory.

    Please run

    If you are still getting errors, run the following.

    Hi,

    This is the same failure signature, different file.

    Now tiboot3.bin (the R5 SPL/bootloader stage) is missing for the exact same reason (No such file or directory, stamp says done, file isn't there).

    Resolving recipe-by-recipe with -f deploy each time you hit a new missing file will be tedious.

    With the earlier command, the a53 side got cleared, but the r5 core stamps remain.

    Do the following to find all the stamps from build directory and delete them.

    find build -path '*/stamps/*' -name '*.do_deploy*' -delete
    bitbake tisdk-default-image
