The active voltage is based upon AVS. It is specified as the voltage required for the CPU domain.

1. Does the AVS considered as safety critical? (We already established that it's required but is it safety critical?

2.  Does TI have a recommended set OTP values for the PMIC for an automotive application?

In my understanding safety critical is a question that asks about functionality and the functionality relies upon being within specification; to my way of thinking, it is moot to talk about safety critical if you do not meet the operating specifications. I must not be understanding your question.

On the 2nd question, I will need to talk to colleagues.

Hi Yossi,

For #2 ... that PMIC part number matches the one on the EVM and is the recommended part number.  OTP/NVM is dictated by the part number, and is the recommended version.

Hello Kyle,

I understand that the MPN we are using TPS6594133ARWERQ1 comes with a default set of OTP values defined as you said in the EVM.

However, the question Mobileye and Valeo would like to know is whether there is a TI recommendation for having a different PMIC P/N with other OTP values that are more recommended to be used with TDA4VP for an automotive ECU application?
