SK-AM62A-LP: am62a evm board stopped booting

Hello

I've checked the bootselect switches and the symptoms are similar to when I dont have the SD inserted, i.e. not boot logs whatsoever. I've tried the same SD card on another board and it definitely works.

All leds light up and it just stays like that, nothing happening. FTDI chip seems to work fine - I see all tty devices. But no console output.

I was mostly super careful re ESD, but recently I - without thinking - dusted it with a regular cleaning brush. So I might have fried something.

What's the best way to troubleshoot this?

Hi,

Can you give some more inputs about the LED? Could you share which LED's are glowing? Also Have you seen any LED is blinking?

Have you tried any other boot modes like UART boot mode?

i have ld2, ld3, ld4, ld7, ld8 (with uart usb connected),

they blink a bit immediately after I connect the power but then they just stay on without change.

I've tried emmc and uart boot modes, the console output is still empty.

Hi Stanislav,

Thanks for sharing the information, Would it be possible to share the EVM image with Power On and LED's are glowing with visible EVM serial number and version ?

Hi,

Thanks for sharing the image, Could you please measure the Voltage on below points with Multimeter?

1. Across C52 Capacitor (Near SD card connector)

2. Test points TP63, TP65 with respect to ground.

3. Across Pin 5 of U79 IC with ground ( with and without SD card inserted)
