AM2434: Unable to flash sciclient_ccs_init.release.out

Hello,

I am unable to load the sciclient firmware to unlock the AM24 for debug.

I saw the FAQ and followed the steps:

put device in dev boot mode:

2. Connect to main R5 core:

4. Load sciclient_ccs_init.release.out

5. Confirm firmware loaded:

6. Run: Note no CIO output

7: Pause debugger looks like it's stuck on waiting for the clocks to initialize:

7. Leave running and the processor has crashed/ is off in no mans land:

I did just in case the CIO wasn't working try restarting the debug session and loading an application binary to the CPU. It also does not run and is stuck on Sciclient_waitForMessage():

Please advise.

Hi Munan,

The default sciclient_ccs_init.out binary provided with the SDK is built for EVM. For LP board, please build the sciclient_ccs_init example provided in the SDK and load the newly created bianry.

The project is available at path {MCU_SDK}/examples/drivers/sciclient/sciclient_ccs_init. Build the example for LP board and use the *out generated.

Hi Tushar,

This did not work for me, I built sciclient_ccs_init_am243x-lp-r5fss0-0_nortos_ti-arm-clang [Release]

It has no CIO output, and eventually goes back to what appears to be a reset or fault vector at 0x0000_0024.
