Queries on SYSBIOS Upgrade for C6747

We are trying to evaluate the new TI tools for upcoming projects. I have some quick questions about the compatibility of SYSBIOS, PSP and EDMA Drivers with C6747 processor.

Please find the below setup which we are currently using and do suggest which version of new drivers needed for C6747 if we are upgrading to SYSBIOS.

CCSv3.3	CCSv5.1

Ashok,

We have BIOSPSP for C6748 which uses the SYS/BIOS 6.x. It is available in the link http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/psp/BIOSPSP/index.html.

But unfortunately, we do not have the SYS/BIOS PSP for C6747.

Please see below the latest software and tools supported on C6747:

IDE: CCS v5.1

DSP/BIOS - v5.41.11.38 http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_sb/targetcontent/dspbios/index.html

EDMA3 LLD - v01.11.03.01 http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/sdo_tii/psp/edma3_lld/index.html

BIOSPSP - v01.30.01 http://software-dl.ti.com/dsps/dsps_public_sw/psp/BIOSPSP/index.html

BIOS5.4x is supported by both CCSV4 and CCSv5. The PSP and EDMA3LLD for C6747 comes with examples that are CCS3.3 and CCSV4 based. You should not have any issues moving over to CCSv5 with existing PSP. You will need to follow the import process for the PSP examples going from CCSv4 to CCSv5. It is strongly recommended to move from CCSv3.3 to CCSv5 and skip CCSv4 as CCSv5 has the latest greatest features and support.
