AM623: How to implement a full-memory DDR BIST / physical address test during initial boot

Part Number: AM623

Hi TI Expert,

Customer is working on AM6234 SDK9.2 and mass production for some time. Recently they have meet more DDR related quality issues, so customer prefer to do more testing before releasing their products.

Customer hopes we could advise on how to implement a full-memory DDR BIST / physical address test on the AM6234 during the initial device boot to verify whether the memory is functioning properly? Are there any off-the-shelf solutions available? Customer goal is to ensure every product passes this test at least once before leaving the factory. Specifically, Customer is looking to execute this full DDR BIST / physical address test directly during the very first U-Boot startup sequence upon initial boot. Does such a solution exist?

Thanks,

Kevin
