SmartReflex frequency

Hi all,

As described in the SPRABI2 documentation, le C66x has been designed to support

SmartReflex class 0 and class 3. Class 0 is used for fixed core voltage  and  Class 3

is used for variable core voltage. 

What is the loop maximum frequency between DSP and UCD device ?.

    Pascal,

    We originally intended to support Smart Reflex Class 3 on the KeyStone1 devices.  We were able to get better power savings than expected with Class 0 operation.  Therefore, we limited support to this class of operation.  Each device is pre-programmed with a unique VID code based upon its process strength.  This value will be presented to the power supply each time the device initializes.  We are not supporting VID value changes for temperature variation in KeyStone1.  Therefore, there is no update frequency.  It only happens once per device start-up.
