Hello,

My customer wants to move their platform form TDA3 to TDA2 due to get more computing power.

but it is very hard to get the EVM. How they can get the EVM?

www.ti.com/.../TDA2PXEVM This link leads to SVT but it only has daughter board, not having TDA2.

Hi Ted,

We don't have any TDA2P/J6Plus EVMs in stock. Have you considered devices in the TDA4x family?

Migrating software from TDA3 to TDA4 is too difficult and totally different.

is there any 3rd party supports TDA2 EVM?

TDA2 is in active state but if we don't support the EVM i think it is problem

Hi Ted and Henry,

Can you summarize the use case for the customer? What specific cores/compute or interfaces are they trying to upgrade the performance? Note that even TDA3 and TDA2(P) are fairly different from software side since TDA2 has "big ARM" A15 and TDA3x only has "little ARM" M4.

TDA2P EVMs are not available at 3P vendors due to part availability and maturity of this device. How many EVMs do they need in case we can search our inventory for any available boards.

Can you also summarize the business opportunity on TDA2x? When ramp to production and what is the projected volume per quarter or per year?
