HDL of ALTERA CPLD on TMDXEVM3358

Dear all :

We are going to use TMDXEVM3358 for evaluation AM335x.

I can get schematic of each boards( Base, Daughter, LCD).

Can I get HDL and pin assignment of ALTERA CPLD on Daughter Board?

 

I would like to study the interface that between AM335x and CODEC(TLV320AIC3106).

Audio data in/out/clk of TLV320 are going to CPLD.

Which pin of AM335x is Audio Interface?

    The source HDL code and programming files will be posted to the tools folder soon.

    The pin assignments from the AM335x that are used for the audio CODEC on the GP daughterboard are shown in the am335x_gpevm_pinuse.xlsx file that is in the GP EVM Hardware User's Guide which is in the tools folder.

    Hi,

    I still can not  HDL code and CPLD programming file avaialable. Can you point me to them? If they are not available, when do we plan to publish them?

    Hi,

    The reason why I am asking is the customer does not want to use a CPLD, they will MUX the necessary signals, as a custom process.

    Do they need to customize the kernel, or something else? I do not think that they will need to customize the kernel.  Could you please advise on this, or correct me if I am wrong and provide HDL code and CPLD programming file for my customer?

    Hi.

    I understand your reply.

    I will not modify  HLD code and CPLD programming file.

    To design the circuit, EVM board has reference.

    I want to use LCD and NOR Flash(or SRAM) side by side.

    But, AD[8..15] and LCD Data[16..23] are same Pins.

    I want to check switching method of two systems through HDL code.(How to use them side by side) 

    if you have the other method, please advise me.

    Can I have HDL code and CPLD programming file ?
