Hi,
We are using the TDA4 SoC in our product, and I have a question regarding its power consumption. I noticed that in the reference design for the J784S4 evaluation board, three TPS62873 devices are connected in parallel for VDD_CPU_AVS, while two TPS62873 devices are paralleled for VDD_CORE_0V8. Are such high current ratings really required for these two power domains in practical operation? Where can I find the current consumption specifications for each power domain of the TDA4? I have not been able to locate this information in the datasheet. Additionally, if I prefer not to use three paralleled TPS62873 devices, are there alternative Buck converter part numbers you can recommend?
