AM62A3: I2C write timeout after starting starting and stopping camera stream multiple time

Hi,

SDK: 11.01.07

HW: AM62A3 Processor

We have custom board based on the AM62A7 processor and we have interfaced AR0235 camera sensor on the CSI interface. Camera sensor is working fine.

But If we start camera stream, let it run for 10 second and stop the stream, after 30 to 40 iteration, stop stream command provides the I2C write timeout. There after MBox error from ti-sci driver.

Below is the boot-up logs from our custom board:

Error happend when camera streaming is stopped:

As I understood, Camera sensor driver is not able to write the camera sensor register over I2C interface and it gets the timeout error.

What could be causing the i2c interface timeout error here? Let us know if there is any other details are required.

Hi Jay,

Is there any way you could see if the issue is reproduced on a TI-supported sensor like IMX219/OV5640, etc.?

Hi Vinuchandran,

There is problem with stop streaming sequence in our camera sensor driver. We have fixed it and it is working fine now. You can close this thread now. Thanks.
