Android Froyo Porting on AM1808evm

Can you send the complete boot log and logcat output for further analysis?

I see the below memory information from the boot log.
Memory: 32MB = 32MB total
Memory: 27508KB available (4044K code, 754K data, 140K init, 0K highmem)

It is very difficult to boot Android with only 32M ram. Please use the suggested bootargs from the above wiki page.

Inode-cache hash table entries: 2048 (order: 1, 8192 bytes)
Memory: 32MB = 32MB total
Memory: 27508KB available (4044K code, 754K data, 140K init, 0K highmem)
SLUB: Genslabs=11, HWalign=32, Order=0-3, MinObjects=0, CPUs=1, Nodes=1

You appear to be using only 32MB memory. This is too less for android to run properly.Please check your bootargs and board setup.

You would need at lease 128MB memory for android to run without any major issues.

Our DD RAM size is 64MB. Does it support for android booting.

As of now I could get ANDROID splash screen. But there is no desktop display, does it take more time to get on.

And Benchmark-release.apk, WindowBackground.apk  files i kept in root file system...

If you dont mind please suggest me in a bit detail way.

It is possible to boot android with 64M. Use the bootargs from the wiki page. First boot will be slower

              I got my HOME screen atlast, mine is 5inch device successfully ported Android Froyo, but iam getting some issues like

1. Touch screen not working properly
2. Calibration 
3. Want porting by default as Portrait.

Touch Screen and Calibration

Regarding the touch screen, we usually do the calibration in touch screen driver.

Default orientation

You can set the property ro.sf.hwrotation in your default.prop file to change the default orientation.
