AM62L-EVSE-DEV-EVM: AM62L: Ethernet not working after enabling secure boot on custom device

Part Number: AM62L-EVSE-DEV-EVM

Hello Team,

We are working on AM62L3x based custom device, we are using SDK 11.00.15.05, we are using DP83822 ethernet phy ic in RMII mode.

We have enabled secure boot on the device. Before enabling secure boot the ethernet was working in uboot and kernel properly, we were able to ping, load images using tftp. but after secure boot enabled the same image is not able ping or load images via tftp in uboot, along with this we also see kernel panic or crash related to cpsw.

We would like to know is there any specific configuration or changes need in uboot and kernel for enabling the ethernet after secure boot enbaled.

Please find attached log file with kernel panic logs along with uboot error for ping from uboot.

Thanks,
Nilesh

  • Hello Nilesh,

    Apologies for the delayed response.

Let me check internally with secure boot experts to understand what could be causing the behavior you are describing.

Please kindly ping this thread if you have no heard back by Friday.

  • Hello,

Enabling secure boot only requires the images to be signed with correct keys otherwise it doesn't affect any other functionality. Could you please clarify all the fields you programmed during provisioning?

Also, do you have the logs before enabling secure boot that shows the ping from U-Boot working?
