Delay in video in Appro DM368IPNC design

Hi all,

I have observed that the delay in live video streaming on Appro DM368IPNC-IMX036 design

is around 1.2 s.Is this a performance issue with Appro design or settings issue where

some settings can be done in order to reduce this delay.

Also i have seen that the live video is broken up in two images at the bottom.Means that

there is clear distinction can be seen b/w the upper and lower part.Has someone noticed this

issue before.

    HI,

    We find the latency to be at 200ms in our setup. Can you connect back to back to your PC with IPNC in static mode to ensure that there are no network issues here.

    One check would be is to reduce the polling time at RTSP server on IPNC side.

    Can you check the attached file and look for STREAM_CHECK_DURATION_MS where it has been reduced to 16ms polling form 33ms.

    This will update “Checkduration” variable.
