    Welcome to the TI E2E forum. I hope you will find many good answers here and in the TI.com documents and in the TI Wiki Pages. Be sure to search those for helpful information and to browse for the questions others may have asked on similar topics.

    The TMS320DA808 was developed for a limited product market and may not be generally available on the open market. You should contact your local TI Sales Office or  TI Authorized Distributor's office to find out if there is support for this device.

    It is very likely that we have other devices that will also meet your needs if our limited-market products are not available. Please look at the OMAP-L138 and OMAP-L137 devices, for example. Tools, software, and documentation are readily available for these very powerful ARM+DSP devices.

    Hello Alex,

    Thanks for your inquire.  The TMS320DA808 device is a special DSP device for audio applications.  Typically we require customers with valid 3rd party license such as Dolby, DTS, etc.  Please email me at li_zhang@ti.com so we can discuss further.  Thanks!
