Hi,

AM3356 datasheet,the address space given for the External Memory Interfaces (EMIF) is 1GB. I have a doubt about the address space given for the EMIF. Actually we have 16 bit address lines for to address the external DRAM.By using these lines we are capable to access 2^16=64Kb of of individual address locations.So why you are given 1GB address space for the EMIF access? please let me know the discrepancy as soon as possible.
