AM62A7: Access DDR-MARGIN-FW tool via MCU_UART0

We need to assess DDR bus margin on our design via the TI DDR-MARGIN-FW tool. Unforutunately, UART0 is not broken out in hardware in our design, nor is it something that could be added practically. We do have convenient access to MCU_UART0 in hardware.

Is there a way to retarget the margin firmware tool to use MCU-UART0 or would it be possible for TI to provide a build that targets this interface instead.

Greetings Robert,

For the current release there is no way to retarget. However, it has been a common request so we are addressing this in the next release (there will be a script that changes the firmware to target a different UART of user choice). For now, please reach out to an FAE and we can privately share a beta build of the next release that targets MCU-UART0.
