DRA821U: How to remove u-boot autoboot wait time?

Hi there,

We're using J7200 SDK v10.0 and want to speed up system boot up time. Can you tell me how to remove 2 second wait time in u-boot and start kernel immediately?

Can you try the below from U-Boot command prompt:

'setenv bootdelay 0'

Hi Keerthy,

Thanks for your reply, but u-boot is stored in eMMC boot partition and we don't use uEnv.txt file. We need U-Boot built-in autoboot without delay. Please tell me where is the best place in SDK code repository to remove the delay.

Hello Charles,

The other option will be to tweak the value of CONFIG_BOOTDELAY to 0 in your build.
